Is Nagomi free?
Yes. Matching, chat, the feed and communities are all free. Nagomi Plus is an optional subscription that adds extras like seeing who liked you. There is no advertising.
Do I have to take quizzes to match?
No. Quizzes only earn a “verified taste” badge for a specific series. They are a trust signal, never a requirement to match or message.
How is my location handled?
Your precise coordinates are stored where only you can read them and are never sent to another user's device. Distance is calculated on our servers and shown rounded, like “~3 km”.
Where does the anime data come from?
The catalogue is built on the manami anime-offline-database (ODbL), enriched with Kitsu. Around 20,000 titles, with cover art, genres, tags and characters.
Who can use Nagomi?
People aged 18 and over. Age is verified from date of birth at sign-up and enforced on our servers before any profile can be created.
When can I install it?
